Brown Stoneware Pitcher USA Vintage Pottery Batter Milk Jug Rustic Farmhouse Decor Country Living
Coming to us from the 1930s, this brown stoneware pottery pitcher shows the USA mark on the bottom and is decorated with a leaf motif and a shiny underglaze. Such vintage pottery jugs were used for pouring batter, milk, cream, and gravy at the rustic farmhouse table. These days, they are often filled with seasonal flowers and sprays as a lovely piece of rustic decor.
This pitcher is in wonderful vintage condition and shows no cracks, flea bites, or chips. It would fit nicely in a country living setting and a farmhouse wedding. Its squared handle and pointed spout make this squat jug an especially attractive piece.
Measurements: 5.5," 7" from end to end, at widest the point, 2 1/2" across the base.
